How It Works
BLAZE allows you to set multiple automatic discounts to products and categories, and will automatically apply the highest-value eligible discount at checkout on the POS.
Example: you have a 10% discount on Product A for the entire month, but you want to offer 20% off as a Happy Hour special on Thursdays.
That recurring 20% Happy Hour discount will automatically apply at the POS on the desired day.
Once the Happy Hour discount ends, the original 10% discount will take over and automatically apply at the POS until the next Happy Hour.
Can I Still Use the Original Discount?
In the case where you prefer to use the original or lower discount:

On the POS, tap on the product in the cart to expand the view

Hit "Remove Discount."

Q: Does the discount need to be product-specific?
A: No! Discounts may be product-specific, category-specific or set to all products and categories!
Q: Does this work for automatic loyalty discounts?
A: Yes! Automatic loyalty discounts are fully supported.
Q: What does "highest-value eligible discount" mean?
A: The highest-value means that the customer will receive the largest discount at the checkout i.e. If both a 10% and a 20% discount are active, the customer receives the 20%.
