# POS (Tablet) | How to Change Payment Type on the POS

## Changing payment type can be done on the Dashboard or the POS. Follow these steps to change your payment type by using the POS.

---

1. Click GR \> Sales
   
   a. If using WebPOS, the Sales section can be found in the top right corner of the Register screen
2. Click on the row of the sale you would like to change the payment type of.
3. Click on the Change payment type button at the bottom of the expanded sale section.
4. Decide if you want to Correct shift float and then enter any Float adjustment notes.a
5. Click on the payment type selection bar (which will display the current payment method) and select your new payment type.
6. If changing the payment type to Moneris or Merrco, you will be asked to enter the Transaction Auth # which can be found on the terminal receipt.
7. Click on the Submit button.
