[Starting and Ending Shifts](https://support.blaze.me/articles/pos-browser?hsLang=en#starting-and-ending-shifts) # POS (Browser) | How to End a Shift Learn how to log off at the end of your shift.   Get familiar with logging off after each shift and ensure other employees are still tracking their sales hours. Learn how to log off if you are counting the shift float. **If you are using Tablet POS [click here](https://support.blazepos.com/log-off-not-counting-float-1?hsLang=en).** At the end of your shift, click on the employee name on the top left corner on the homepage. Select your employee profile and enter in your passcode then click on “clock out”. ![image (75)-1](https://support.blaze.me/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/image%20(75)-1.png?width=688&height=341&name=image%20(75)-1.png)   This will stop tracking shift hours for your employee profile and log you off. Other employees will continue tracking their shift hours until they enter in their passcode and click "clock out". --- ### Log Off (Counting Float) If you are the authorized employee or shift manager that needs to end the shift, you do not need to clock out as described above. Click on the red "End shift" button on the top right corner of your screen.
