How to set up a popup announcement

This article will teach you how to set up a pop up announcement that will be displayed on your Wordpress Website.

 

Start by logging into the back end of your Wordpress site. Click Tymber V2 in the sidebar menu. 

2. Click on the tab that says 'pop up'. Type in the message you would like displayed in your pop up section. You will see 2 tabs at the top of the text box: visual and text. 

a. Type and format your message in the visual tab and select the style elements you'd like, i.e. bold, italic, center aligned, etc. Then you can select the text tab to see how the text looks as HTML code.

Feel free to play around in the HTML section! It's a great way to learn some basic code!

3. The pop up creator has the ability to set a time frame for the message. Once your message is written, you can set the date range. If you'd like it to be displayed immediately, set the start date for the day before. The message will display through the dates specified and then automatically turn off.

Note the end date! Inclusive means that the message will run through until the end of the day (midnight) on the end date specified. So, if you're running a 4/20 special and only want it to run for two days, you'd set the date range for 4/19-4/20 and your message will disappear at 12;01 AM on 4/21.

a. Additionally, you can change the display colors of the popup box and text. Once those are set and you're satisfied, press save!

Voila! Here is your exciting new announcement displayed for all your website visitors to see. With this feature, you can announce hour of operation changes, announce new deals, and just generally let your customers know what's up!
