Medical: A patient or their primary caregiver can purchase up to 8 ounces of dried cannabis, and 6 mature or 12 immature cannabis plants in one day. If the patient has a physician’s recommendation different from this amount they may purchase the amount consistent with the recommendation. Local jurisdictions may also allow for an increased limit.

Colorado (CO)
Recreational: A retailer may sell up to 1 ounce of marijuana flower, or 8 grams of concentrate, or 800-milligram servings of edible product, or more than 6 seeds in a day to a customer. This does not include non-edible, non-psychoactive products such as topicals.
Minors under 18-21 are limited to 2 grams of concentrate.
Medical: In a single day a medical marijuana store may not sell more than 2 ounces of marijuana flower, or 8 grams concentrate, or marijuana products totaling more than 20,000 milligrams. The medical marijuana store shall not sell more than 6 immature plants or seeds to a patient without documentation allowing an increased plant limit. If the patient has a physician’s recommendation exempting them from these limitations and has designated this store as their primary care center they may purchase the amount consistent with the recommendation.
