To add products, log in to BLAZE, click "Inventory" on the left-hand sidebar, and select the category you want to add a product to:
Select the category you want to enter inventory into, then click "Add Product."
Enter the product name, pricing, cannabis type, sell type - if its recreational, medicinal, or both - corresponding vendor(s) for the product (If you haven't added any vendors yet, do so via the sidebar under Memberships -> Vendors) and brand (add-able on the sidebar under Brands), a product description, and Weight Per Unit.
Note: If you're a Metrc-compliant shop, your product's weight cannot be set at Each.
If you have a predefined SKU, you can set it, OR we will automatically create one for the product. If you have product pictures available, you can upload them now or later. Once finished, click "Save."
Adding inventory to products
There are two ways to add inventory to products: either through receiving inventory in through a Purchase Order, or adding inventory directly as a batch. Each batch is considered a new purchase from that vendor; a product can have multiple batches:
First, select the product you're wanting to add inventory to through Inventory -> Categories -> [search] on the sidebar. Once there, click the "Batches" button, then "Add Batch."
It is required that you enter the quantity you purchased and how much you purchased it for. Once that is entered, the system will display the unit cost of the product. You can add testing characteristics about the batch, as well as any other desired information. Click Save to add the batch. By default, all batches are added to inventory "Safe."
You now have a product with inventory that you can sell!
