ECOM | How to identify MX and TXT DNS Records

This article will explain how to identify your domain's configured MX and TXT records.

  1. Visit the Google Admin Toolbox Dig tool: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#MX/
  2. Enter domain into search bar (remove https://, www and any "/") and click on MX or TXT tab for results
  3. You can then see and copy/paste/save the records configured in your domain settings for MX (Mail serves) and TXT

If you are transferring your Nameservers away from another domain host, you can then input these MX and TXT records to complete connections that will be removed during that transfer.
