Insights (Advanced) | Optimal Inventory Distribution

The Optimal Inventory Distribution dashboard provides a high-level, data-driven look at how your current stock is allocated across different segments over the last 30 days. This tool helps you analyze your product mix, identify inventory trends, and make informed purchasing decisions to ensure you maintain the right balance of stock across all your locations

Navigation

To access this report, follow this path in your dashboard:

Insights > Dashboard > Inventory > Optimal Inventory Distribution

Filtering Report Data

You can easily customize the data displayed on your dashboard to fit your specific needs. Use the following filter options to narrow down your view:

  • Controls:

    • Shop(s): Select the specific location(s) you want to view.

Available Reports

  • Category Distribution - Last 30 Days

    • Displays a visual breakdown of your inventory by product category. This helps you quickly identify which types of items make up the largest (or smallest) portion of your stock, ensuring your inventory aligns with customer demand.

  • Brand Distribution - Last 30 Days

    • Illustrates how your inventory is distributed across specific product brands. Use this report to monitor brand presence on your shelves, track brand performance over the last month, and evaluate your brand purchasing strategy.

  • Vendor Distribution - Last 30 Days

    • Shows the allocation of your inventory based on your suppliers. This allows you to track vendor reliance, manage your supply chain diversity, and see which vendors are supplying the bulk of your current inventory.

💡 Pro Tip: You can export this or any KPI held in Insights to a CSV or Excel file. Simply click the More Options (three-dot icon) in the upper right-hand corner of the metric.
