ECOM | Kiosk Check In Mode

This article will explain the ECOM Kiosk Check-in Mode.

Kiosk Device Setting Recommendations:

Recommended for iOS Devices:

  • Disable device Auto-lock:
    • Open Settings: Tap the Settings app icon on your iPad's home screen. 
    • Go to Display & Brightness: Scroll down the Settings menu and tap on "Display & Brightness". 
      Select Auto-Lock: Tap on the "Auto-Lock" option. 
    • Choose Never: Select "Never" from the list of Auto-Lock options. This will prevent the screen from automatically locking

Recommended for Android Devices:

Kiosk Check-in Experience:

  • Existing Customers who have purchased online/in-store previously will be prompted to Scan their Driver's License and if their ID number matches with an ID number in a POS Member Profile, they'll be asked to confirm to be checked into the POS Queue.

    • POS Member Profile is then added to the Queue automatically
    • Note: Customers can also enter Driver's License or Passport number manually

  • If the scanned or manually entered ID number does not match a profile, customer can search for their Profile via phone number or email
    • If a match is found via phone number or email, they'll be asked to confirm to be checked into the POS Queue.
  • If the customer has never shopped with the store before, they will need to create and account to get checked in.

  • Once the Sign Up process has been completed and they have confirmed their phone number via 2FA SMS code, the customer will be able to check themselves in and their profile will have been created in the POS.
