Retail | Duplicate Members Table

This feature is best used to find similar members that share identifiable information, but whose driver's license either does not exist in the system or differs from the one currently being scanned.

Matching Logic

The system identifies potential duplicates by looking for:

  • Similar First Name (e.g., Jen, Jenn, Jennifer)

  • Exact Last Name

  • Exact DOB (If a DOB does not exist on the profile, the search will fallback on the name criteria)

NOTE: If an exact driver’s license match is found, the system will open that exact member profile immediately. The Duplicate Members Table will not be triggered.

How to Use

Follow these steps to utilize the Duplicate Members Table during your workflow.

  1. Scan the Driver's License Navigate to either the Members section or Orders > New Order and scan the customer's driver's license.

  2. Review the Table If the scanned license does not match an existing profile exactly, but a member with similar information exists (first name, exact last name, or exact DOB), the Duplicate Members Table will appear listing those potential matches.

  3. Select an Action

    • Update an Existing Profile: If the customer appears in the table, you can easily update their profile with the scanned information. Select the radio button next to the member’s name and click/tap the Update button.

    • Create a New Profile: If the members listed in the table do not match the customer you are helping, click/tap the Create New Member button. This will create a new profile using the scanned information.
