Here, we'll walk through an overview of the Compliance Task Manager and how to navigate the system effectively.

Navigate to Compliance > Compliance Task Manager

  • The Metrc Task Manager displays actions performed in BLAZE® Retail that push data to Metrc. For example, when a sales transaction containing a cannabis product is completed in BLAZE®, all compliance data for that sale will push to Metrc automatically to update the necessary information.

  • The task manager also tracks the status of each attempt to push data to Metrc. There are three possible statuses:

    • Successful: Metrc was successfully updated.

    • Pending: The Metrc update is currently in progress.

    • Failed: The Metrc update was unsuccessful.

  • Additionally, the Metrc Task Manager will display any failed attempts to pull data from Metrc into BLAZE®. Continue reading to learn how to resubmit a failed data transfer.


  • Navigating the Metrc Task Manager

Follow these steps to access and manage your data transfers:

  1. From BLAZE® Retail, navigate to Compliance, then click Compliance Task Manager. From here, you will be able to see a complete list of data transfers sent to Metrc along with the details of each.

  2. Filter the results displayed in the table by using the dropdown menus located under each column title.

  3. Click on the row of interest to open a pop-up window with more details about that specific data transfer. If the data transfer failed, click Resubmit to try again.

 NOTE: A resubmit will not occur automatically; you must manually resubmit the sync until it is successful.
