Short codes are a feature you can use to insert dynamic content from your ECOM menu directly into your WordPress content site pages. Here is how to configure that in your WP admin.
Note: If using the Tymber Lite Plugin for the ECOM Proxy, the V2 Tymber Shop plugin can be installed at the same time; but must be the only Tymber plugin enabled for short codes to work.
ECOM Support (ecomsupport@blaze.me) will need to create/share a unique API token that is paired to the Wordpress Site Address in WP Admin for the short code feature.
- ECOM Support will need the WP Admin Site Address to pair with the API token:
- It is highly recommended to NOT use WP Rocket with Tymber Shop, and use Lightspeed for caching in the content website.

Once configured, the V2 Tymber Shop can be downloaded by clicking this link.
- Installation and short code configuration steps are listed below.
1. Click on Plugins and Add New Plugin
2. Click on Upload Plugin
3. Click Choose File select and upload zip file shared with you
4. Click on Install Now
5. Click on Activate Plugin
6. Click on Tymber Shop Plugin
7. Paste in the API Key shared with you and save.
- To have the API Key created on our end and provided to you, our ECOM Support team must know the Wordpress Site Address configured in the WP Admin.
8. Click on Save Changes
9. Ensure the Correct Default store is set in the drop down menu
