ECOM | ECOM Category Page Titles

This article will explain how to implement Page Titles to your ECOM Category pages

Titles for Categories

To implement the page titles of ECOM category pages, navigate and log into ECOM Mission Control. Navigate to General > SEO. There you will find the setting to control the ECOM Category Page Titles.

You can populate the ECOM page titles with plain text or use the available variables to populate the page title dynamically. 

Available variables:

page_title: pulls in the category name you have entered in your POS system for the category

site_title: this pulls from Mission Control inside the Pages - SEO Title

💡Variables must be surround with the % symbol if used to dynamically populate ECOM category page titles as shown in the example below

(ex: %page_title%)

Descriptions for Categories 

You can update your descriptions for categories inside ECOM by going into your Categories in the sidebar. 

Once inside Categories click on the edit field to open up a modal where you can enter the description you want for that category. Once you have entered the description click save. 

The Page Title and Description for Categories will now be visible to search engine crawlers.
