This Support Article will assist you in setting up your Aeropay integration inside of BLAZE!
First, navigate to Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Payments and click the blue CONNECT button on the Aeropay card to start the process.
Once you have clicked the blue CONNECT button you will see a small modal appear that asks for the following:
Merchant Name: The name of your shop, if you have multiple locations include the company and location name!
Merchant ID: Provided by Aeropay
Merchant Location ID: Provided by Aeropay
Merchant Location UUID: Provided by Aeropay
Once you are done, click the blue SAVE button to move forward.
Once you have saved the information, BLAZE will validate all of the keys are correct and as long as there are no issues, you can move forward! Once you save, the Aeropay card will update to look like the following:
Next, click on the settings wheel and navigate to the FEES tab. Here you set the Shop Surcharge or Convenience fee your consumers will pay per transaction. You can set this to whatever you like and it will start applying that fee to your transactions.
NOTE: If you have questions about what fee is appropriate for you please consult with your legal or tax professional for guidance to ensure fee configuration is compliant federally and locally to your jurisdiction.
Next click on the SETTINGS tab and you can enable either of the following settings:
Deferred Capture Payment: This setting, when toggled on, will make it so that when your consumer presses the ‘pay’ button on their device, they are not yet fully paying. They are authorizing the charge, and Aeropay will hold that authorization until you complete the BLAZE transaction, at that point the money is captured and moved.
Allow SMS for Pre-Payment: This setting, when toggled on, will automatically send an SMS paylink to your consumers when you accept their incoming orders, whenever they did not place their order through BLAZE ECOM.
Once you have configured all of the above, Aeropay will be ready for use on your BLAZE Ecom checkout experience automatically, and you can start using it in-store via the Aeropay payment method.
