This support article will walk you through using the Aeropay payment method.
Once you have Aeropay’s integration configured using this guide HERE, the payment method will automatically start appearing both in-store on your POS and on your BLAZE ECOM checkout experience.
In-Store Retail Aeropay Experience
Once you are at the payment option screen during the in-store checkout process, you can select the Aeropay payment method to get started.
Selecting the payment method will Display it under all the options with a charge field you can set how much you are charging. This field always defaults to whatever the remaining balance is on the transaction. To continue with sending the Aeropay payment link click the blue APPLY button.
A small modal will appear with multiple status’ and options for you to move forward. At this point your customer Aeropay fee is applied to the transaction. In this example we applied a $20 fee to make it very obvious the fee is being added. You can set the fee to anything you want in your global settings, as outlined HERE (link the above guide there)
Connecting to Server: This means that the SMS has been send to the consumer, they will get a text message in a moment with a link to complete their payment.
Waiting for Customer: While this is spinning, the payment is in progress.
Payment Received: Once the customer completes the payment on their device, this will turn to a checkmark and you will be able to move forward and complete the BLAZE transaction.
In addition to waiting for the consumer to use the paylink on their device that they got in a text message, if you have a station that allows you to spin the screen around, they can scan the QR code present on this modal. If your station cannot spin around, you can click the PRINT button just under the QR code to print the code from your receipt printer, which they can scan!
BLAZE ECOM Aeropay Experience
Once you have enabled Aeropay the BLAZE ECOM checkout experience will automatically start offering Aeropay as a payment option on your online menu. If they select it, it will link their account to their ECOM profile, and if they have already used Aeropay it will automatically pull their bank accounts for them after a one-time password is sent to their email or phone.
If they choose to Pay with Aeropay, the transaction will already have a payment applied to it in BLAZE when you accept the incoming order. All you will have to do is complete the transaction in BLAZE and the money will be captured from the customer!
