Help! The products in my cart do not add up to be 8 grams (CA) or more of concentrated products!

BLAZE recognizes cannabis items set to "each" as 1 gram. In order to sell more than 8 edibles/concentrates, the weight per unit must be set to the amount of cannabis in the product.

1. Check each product in the user's cart to see how the Weight Per Unit (WPU) is set.

2. If the WPU is set to Each, change this to custom, select the unit of measurement, and enter in the custom weightsave

  • NOTE: The custom weight entered refers to the THC content of the product, NOT the overall weight of the product.
  • EX: A 2.5 oz chocolate bar with 100 mg of THC should have a WPU set to Custom, the unit of measurement would be mg, and the custom weight entered would be 100

3. Repeat as necessary

  • This can be done in bulk from the All Inventory page using the Mass Edit button.

Help! There's a member with a rec stating they can have more than the legal limit!

Currently, BLAZE does not allow for cannabis limits to be overridden. In order to process sales for patients allowed more than the legal limit, turn off the limits to process the sale and turn them back on once the sale has been complete.

  • NOTE: While limits are temporarily turned off, STOP all other transactions and ONLY process this transaction.

1. Notify the person/people in charge of this special circumstance. ONLY a Manager / Admin should follow the steps outlined

2. Document (take pictures of the rec and make note of the patient's name) that this is allowed in case you are to be audited and can show that you are following protocol.

3. STOP all other transactions.

4. Navigate to Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Shop Information and click the Edit button.

5. Scroll to User Cannabis Limit and temporarily disable. Click the Save button.

6. Process the sale

7. Return to Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Shop Information and click the Edit button.

8. Scroll to User Cannabis Limit and re-enable. Click the Save button.

9. Resume other transactions.

This generally happens when the Weight Per Units are set to "eaches" rather than "custom grams" or "eighth per unit."

1. Check each product in the user's cart to see how the Weight Per Unit (WPU) is set.

2. If the WPU is set to Each, change this to custom or eighth per unit. If custom weight, select the unit of measurement, and enter in the custom weightsave

  • This can be done in bulk from a specific Inventory page using the Mass Edit button.
