BLAZE Integrations | How to Enable BLAZE MCP

Enabling Model Context Protocol (MCP) allows your team to connect AI assistants directly to BLAZE to manage retail, inventory, and e-commerce operations. An admin only needs to enable this setting once to turn on MCP access for every user in the account.

Prerequisites

  • Account Admin or Owner status in BLAZE Accounts.
  • Active account on a supported plan (Standard or Professional).
  • Review billing details on the Products page prior to enabling the add-on.

How to Enable the MCP Add-On

  1. Sign in to BLAZE Accounts at [accounts.blaze.me].
  2. Navigate to the Products page.
  3. Locate the MCP add-on.
  4. Select Enable and confirm your choice.

NOTE: Turning on MCP enables access account-wide. Individual permissions do not change; each user's AI assistant can only access the stores and data permitted by their existing BLAZE login.

Server URLs & Integrations

Use the following server URLs when configuring your AI app or assistant connector:

Connector Use Case Server URL
BLAZE Retail Stores & back office: products, inventory, purchase orders, transactions, promotions, employees, and store settings https://mcp.blaze.me/retail/mcp
BLAZE Ecom Online store: catalog, menu, orders, online customers, and site settings https://mcp.blaze.me/ecom-admin/mcp

Connecting in Claude

  1. Open Customize > Connectors.
  2. Search for BLAZE in the directory or select Add > Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the appropriate Server URL from the table above.
  4. Select Connect and sign in using your BLAZE credentials.

Connecting in Other AI Apps

  1. Add BLAZE as a connector or app using the appropriate Server URL listed above.
  2. Sign in with your BLAZE login credentials.

Disabling MCP

To turn off access for all connected AI assistants across your entire account:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Products in BLAZE Accounts.
  2. Turn off the MCP add-on.

WARNING: Disabling the MCP add-on immediately revokes access for all connected AI assistants.

Troubleshooting

  • "MCP isn't enabled" error when signing in: Confirm with an account admin that the MCP add-on has been enabled on the Products page.
  • Cannot find the Products page or MCP add-on: Verify that your account has admin privileges. Contact your account admin or BLAZE support if issues persist.
  • Missing stores or data in AI assistant: The AI assistant enforces user-level permissions. Ensure your BLAZE account role has access to the missing store locations.
