How to set up a KML delivery area for scheduled and asap deliveries with a Geojson file
This feature is an optional part of our KML delivery zone setup. If you want to learn how to set up KML delivery zones, check out our KML walkthrough article.
What is a Geojson file?
This is a way to encode geographical data into a text based format. This is relevant to your delivery zone by enabling you to create a custom delivery zone and paste the generated text into Mission Control.
We will walk you through when to use it and how to generate the text.
When To Use a Geojson Delivery Zone
This is helpful for operators on KML delivery zones running express and scheduled/asap delivery.
The delivery zone for your scheduled and asap delivery is made up of all of the KML files assigned to all your inventories. In order to have express and scheduled delivery zones work independently from each other, you can define your scheduled delivery separately with a Geojson zone.
Once uploaded, your Geojson zone will determine where your customers can order scheduled and asap deliveries.
Express delivery will be separately defined by the KML zones assigned to each vehicle's inventory location.
