ECOM | Explicit Store Selection

This article will explain the Explicit Store Selection setting by store, which is enabled on the Mission Control Settings -> Store Configuration tab.

Enabling the Explicit Store Selection setting will require customers to select a Pickup Store Location or validate a delivery address before proceeding with their order. Customers will not be able to navigate the menu until they select a store or enter delivery address.

Recommended for Delivery: If offering Delivery via multiple ECOM Menus, it is recommended to pair this setting with the Forced Delivery Address setting to ensure customers are ordering from the right delivery menu, based on the delivery address.

To enable:

  • Log into ECOM Mission Control: ecom.blaze.me
  • Click Settings -> Site Configuration
  • Toggle Explicit Store Selection to Active

Customers will then have to enter a delivery address or select a Pickup Location to view the corresponding menu. They will not be able to close out of the Address Checker/Location Selector, which will ensure they are able to navigate to the appropriate Delivery or Pickup Menu.
