Retail | MC3 Printer + Customer Facing Display (CFD) Set Up

You can now use MC3 printers with a CFD attachment with BLAZE. This will make sure you remain compliant and allow you to control what customers see on your retail displays when they are not in use. When idle the screen will show the shop name. When an order is being processed it shows the item name and price the customer will pay. 

Prerequisites

• Purchase an MC3 printer (MCP 31 lb) + CFD attachment (SCD 222U)

MC3 Connection

There are 3 different ways to connect your MC3 printer to our BLAZE Retail POS app available on iOS:

• WIFI

• Bluetooth

• Manual

How to Set Up Your MC3 Printer

WIFI Connection

1. In your Retail POS App tap Settings then Receipt Printer Setup

2. A list of available printers will populate

3. Select MCP3 Printer from the list

4. To check the connection is established to the MCP3 printer, tap Print Sample Receipt, and a receipt will print if connected.

5. Tap Done.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Navigate to iPad's Settings , tap Bluetooth then Enable

2. Find the MC3 printer from the My Devices / Other Devices list

3. Select the MC3 printer (Wait until it shows as Connected)

4. In your BLAZE Retail POS app open Settings then Receipt Printer Setup

5. A list of available printers will populate

6. Select MC3 Printer from the list

7. To check the connection is established to the MCP3 printer, tap Print Sample Receipt, and a receipt will print if connected

8. Tap Done

Manual Connection

1. 1. In your BLAZE Retail POS App open Settings then Receipt Printer Setup

   2. Select Manual

   3. Enter IP Address

   4. Select Device Model, then tap Confirm.

   5. Select OK

   6. To check the connection is established to the MCP3 printer, tap Print Sample Receipt, and a receipt will print if connected

   7. Tap Done
