The Sales by Consumer Type report lists consumer type (medical, adult-use) with value, transaction, and tax info for each type.
In order to optimize our reporting, reports over a 2 week period will no longer be shown in our UI. Any reports over a 2 week period will be auto-generated and sent to the email you are logged in with.
- To access these generated reports in BLAZE, navigate to Data Export > Generated, you will find a list of generated reports you can easily download.
The Sales by Consumer Type report can be accessed by navigating to Data Export > Transaction. It will be located within the list of reports.
The following is a list of all the types of data you will get in this report, and what they all mean. There is also an example export of this report attached to this support document.
- Breakdown: Consumer type revenue details.
- Cannabis Retail Value: Total value of cannabis retail sales processed.
- Non-Cannabis Retail Value: Total value of non-cannabis retail sales processed.
- Cannabis Discounts: Total discounts applied to cannabis sales.
- Non-Cannabis Discounts: Total discounts applied to non-cannabis sales.
- Total Discounts: Total of discounts applied before taxes.
- After-Tax Discount: Total of discounts added after taxes have been applied.
- Gross Revenue: Total retail value minus discounts.
- Display City Tax: Total of display city post-taxes applied.
- Display County Tax: Total of display county post-taxes applied.
- Display State Tax: Total of display state post-taxes applied.
- Display Federal Tax: Total of display federal post-taxes applied.
- Total Tax: Total of all applied taxes.
- Delivery Fees: Total delivery fees.
NOTE: Fees can be configured in Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Fees & Minimums - Credit/Debit Card Fees: Total of Credit Card fees applied to the transaction.
NOTE: Fees can be configured in Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Fees & Minimums - Cashless ATM Fees: Total of Cashless ATM fees applied to the transaction.
NOTE: Fees can be configured in Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Fees & Minimums - Gross Receipt: Gross receipts are the sum total of all of your sales including taxes and fees, but not including discounts.
NOTE: Sales + Taxes + Fees - Discounts = Gross Receipt. - COGS: COGS stands for Cost of Goods Sold. To calculate this, BLAZE uses the batch COG on a unit level and applies it to the quantity being purchased by the customer to get COGS. This does not include excise tax, excise tax is a separate line item.
- Net Profit: Gross receipts minus COG.
- Number of Visits: Total number of transactions processed.
