The BLAZE Delivery app is available through both the Apple Store and the Android Play Store. To learn more about the application, please check out this article.
Apple Support
Almost any Apple phone or tablet running a supported iOS version will run the Delivery app.*
Supported Major iOS Versions
- iOS 15
- iOS 16
- iOS 17
We STRONGLY recommend disabling automatic OS updates and that you do not perform an update to the next Major version until supported by BLAZE. Minor versions (i.e. 14.0 to 14.1) should work fine, but a major update (i.e. 14.x > 15.x) could cause problems. Apple sometimes provides very little notice prior to a major upgrade going live. Once a new update is live, BLAZE must then update our delivery application and thoroughly test it prior to certifying it for the new OS. Once you update to the next major iOS version, there is no process to downgrade. Please refrain from any major version upgrades until the iOS version is supported.
*Your application experience is heavily dependent on the cellular data coverage and performance of your carrier. It is strongly recommended that you investigate coverage for carriers to determine which lines up best with your delivery zones. Poor cellular coverage will result in a poor experience.
Android Support
The Android ecosystem of phones is very diverse and even within versions of Android, most manufacturers choose to customize the Android operating system. This ability to customize can have unexpected results. The largest issues are seen around manufacturers enforcing extreme power management to report the best battery life. These power management tools can close applications that you want to remain open. The list below of phones and Android versions are only the ones with which we test our releases and perform QA checks. The BLAZE Delivery app may very well work on many other phone models, but we cannot guarantee support on them.
Validated and Supported Phones*
- Samsung A7
- Samsung S7
- Samsung S8
- Samsung S10
- Samsung S20
- Google Pixel 3
Supported Major Android Versions
- Android 11
- Android 12
- Android 13
- Android 14
We strongly recommend against upgrading to a new major Android version until it has been tested by BLAZE as compatible. There often is no way to roll back to a prior version. Upgrading prior to our validation and support could result in a phone that will not operate the BLAZE Delivery app for many weeks or more until we can test with the specific phone model and Android version.
