This article will explain the ECOM Product Recommendations feature available on your ECOM Menu.
BLAZE ECOM provides the ability to enable Product Recommendations for your ECOM customers, that will provide them with personalized products to assist in facilitating quicker online conversions. 
Product Recommendations are based on:
- If a customer is not logged into their ECOM profile or does not have enough purchase history in the POS, recommendations will show them “trending” products.
- "Trending" products are based on data from all completed orders from the POS; including BLAZE ECOM, walk-in and third party's, such as Weedmaps.
- If a customer is logged into their ECOM profile and has enough purchase history in the POS, recommendations will show them a mix of “previously purchased” and “trending” products.
How to enable Product Recommendations:
- Currently the Product Recommendations feature must be enabled by your Onboarding Coach during Onboarding or ECOM Support team. Please reach out to onboarding@blaze.me or ecomsupport@blaze.me to request the enabling of this feature!
Category Recommendations
Displays recommended products from the current selected category.
Category Page Recommendations will only populate if the Category has more than 5 products available in it.
Pre-Checkout Recommendations
After clicking on Checkout from the cart, customers will be presented with additional product recommendations prior to reaching the checkout screen.
1. Product details and navigation to brand page are not accessible.
2. Only one unit of the Product can be added to the cart at a time. Quantity adjustments are not available.
3. Products in cart will not be recommended.
Checkout Recommendations
Additional products will also be recommended at checkout.
Recommended products during the pre-checkout and checkout stages are displayed based on price. As the total value of the cart increases, the suggested products will have lower price points.
Tracking Recommended Products in the Orders Tab
In the View All view on the Orders tab, ECOM orders that contain Recommended Products in them will include an icon indicating how many Recommended Products were included on the order.
Each order profile that contains Recommended Products in them will include an icon next to each Recommended Product included in the ECOM order.
