To be able to add sub-categories to existing categories, access the GREENLINE POS dashboard and click on the "Products" tab from the left hand margin. Once clicked on, the "Products" tab reveals further options, of which "Categories" need to be selected.

Categories can be accessed by simply clicking in the row of the relevant category name:
From within the main category, click on the "+ Add subcategory" field to add the desired sub-category:
The desired name of the sub-category can be added from the field that appears when clicking on the "+ Add subcategory" icon, and once the desired name has been typed in, it is important to save the additions / changes by clicking on the blue "Save" icon in the left bottom corner of the "Edit Category" window.
By clicking on the "+ Add subcategory" icon, several subcategories can be added within one instance, and the applied changes / additions only have to be saved at the end, not after each addition
It is of the highest importance that the names for the subcategories are unique, meaning no other subcategory for any other main category carries the same name, nor does any main category carry the same name as subcategory.
Once successfully established, subcategories will display on the ECOM menu as per below:
Each unique sub-category provides the customer with more granular product detail on BLAZE ECOM so that they can easily find exactly what they're looking for. It adds greatly to the customer experience and orientation towards desired products on the ECOM menu.
What Happens If Sub-Categories Are Not Unique!?
BLAZE ECOM tries to prevent duplicate web page listings from appearing in an effort to bolster SEO and provide the customer with the best search and filter options on the store menu.
If identical sub-categories are present on your Greenline dashboard, BLAZE ECOM will make these unique by placing a number alongside the sub-category name.
Please do not recreate the below example in your GREENLINE POS, it is only for demonstrative purposed:
In this example, you will see the sub-categories of Dried Flower labeled as Hybrid 2, Indica 2, Sativa 2 on the ECOM menu:
