This article will walk you through the process of completing a transaction on BLAZEPAY Cashless ATM using the manual entry workflow.
As a BLAZE user, to run a manual entry Cashless ATM TFI transaction, go through the transaction process on the BLAZE Retail POS app until you reach the tender screen. On this screen, you are presented with all of your available payment methods. In this case, click on 'Cashless ATM'. Not to be mistaken or confused for BLAZEPAY Cashless ATM.
The ‘Cashless ATM’ payment option will present you with a new window that displays the total of the transaction.
Remember that Cashless ATM through TFI rounds to the nearest $5. In order to account for the round up and balance your drawers against the cash back you will be giving the consumer, make sure you do the rounding before moving forward. For example $4.50 -> $5 || $13.22 -> $15
In the example above the the balance is $23.33 will be rounded to $25
From here, before moving on and clicking the blue ‘complete’ button, lets turn our attention to the card reader. And start the process on that side. Whenever your going to perform a manual entry transaction with Cashless ATM TFI, make sure you are on the S/A (Standalone) mode.
Next press the Green button on the bottom right hand side of the keypad, which will bring up the main menu.
Press the 1 key or tap on Withdrawal to move forward to where you can type in the amount you are charging. In this example we have just typed in $10. The most important thing here is that you remember to type in the ROUNDED amount, otherwise the card reader will give you an error.
With your amount entered into the card reader press the green button again at the bottom right of the keypad to charge a card
Once the card reader has successfully processed the transaction, complete the payment in the BLAZE POS and the transaction is finalized! If you experience any difficulties while processing debit card transactions please reach out to pay-support@blaze.me for additional assistance.
