This article will provide the recommended workflow for processing a manual Cashless ATM PayAuth transaction.
Through this support guide, you will find the steps on how to process manual PayAuth transactions manually on the payment terminals. PayAuth has some great features, such as automatic rounding and cash-back calculation directly on the card reader, to make the process as easy as possible!
Step 1: When the card reader is on, and you are on the main screen, it will show a big green Start Transaction button.
Step 2: Clicking on the start transaction button brings you to the page where you can type in the amount you want to charge:
Step 3: Since this program is CashlessATM, cards are charged in $5 increments. However, as mentioned above, one of the great features that comes with PayAuth, even as a manual sale, is automatic rounding and cashback calculation. Let us demonstrate this by only typing in $1 on the card reader.
Step 4: As you can see it shows the real total of $5 and shows you the cashback that you will give back as $4. This works with transactions that have changed as well. Next, we will hit OK, and it will prompt the consumer for a TIP:
Step 5: After selecting a percentage, custom, or no tip, the card reader will ask the consumer to insert their card to begin the payment collection steps:
Step 6: After you reach the page where the consumer can confirm the amount they are going to be charged, clicking the green CONFIRM button will ask the consumer to enter their PIN:
Finally, once the consumer enters their PIN and presses OK, the transaction will process, and assuming that the PIN is correct and the card has appropriate available funds on it, the transaction will be completed on the card reader.
Closing the transaction in BLAZE using BLAZEPAY CATM
Step 1: From the payment options screen, select BLAZEPAY CATM. Although the transaction is manual, the POS still automatically rounds the payment to the nearest $5. Budtenders will not have to manually round the total in the CHARGE field.
NOTE: The payment fee will be automatically applied to the sale as well . Please ensure your location has a fee set in place for manual transactions.

e. Click the FEE tab to ensure a manual fee is set in place
Step 2: Next to the available payment field, toggle ON the Manual option and select APPLY.
Step 3: After, the transaction will be completed on the POS side.
Finally, you will see the change due to the member.
Closing the transaction in the BLAZE Delivery app (Cashless ATM)
The BLAZEPAY integration is not currently compatible with the BLAZE Delivery app. To complete sales processed on the Nexgo N82 or N96 payment terminals, the sales must be closed using the Cashless ATM option.
To ensure the Cashless ATM option is enabled, navigate to the Global Settings. Then, under Current Shop Settings, you will find the section labeled Payment Options. In the available payment options, Cashless ATM will be highlighted in blue, indicating that it is enabled.
Step 1: Locate the transaction in the task queue.
Step 2: At the payment options screen, select CashlessATM.
Step 3: In the field "Amount to Pay," the driver will enter the rounded Current Balance PLUS the Cashless ATM fee.
Example
Current Balance: $36.73
Cashless ATM Fee: $3.50
Since the payment service rounds the balance on the terminals to the nearest $5, the driver will need to consider this when adding the manual payment in the BLAZE Delivery app.
Current Balance: $36.73 will round to $40
Cashless ATM Fee: $3.50
Rounded Current Balance $40 + Cashless ATM Fee $3.50 = $43.50
$43.50 will be the dollar amount entered under the Amount to Pay field.
If applicable, tips will need to be added to the total entered in the Amount to Pay field.
Rounded Current Balance + Tip + Cashless ATM Fee = Amount to Pay
