Retail | Processing a PayAuth transaction

This article will provide the recommended workflow on how to process a Cashless ATM PayAuth transaction.

Currently, PayAuth is an unintegrated payment program, meaning that transactions must happen manually on the card readers. However, PayAuth has some great features such as automatic rounding and cash-back calculation directly on the card reader to make the process as easy as possible!

Step 1: When the card reader is on and you are on the main screen It shows a big green Start Transaction button.

Step 2: Clicking on the start transaction button brings you to the page where you can type in the amount you want to charge:

Step 3: Since this program is CashlessATM cards are charged in $5 increments. However as mentioned above one of the great features that comes with PayAuth, even unintegrated, is automatic rounding and cashback calculation. Let us demonstrate this by only typing in $1 on the card reader.

Step 4: As you can see it shows the real total of $5 and shows you the cashback that you will give back as $4. This works with transactions that have change as well. Next, we will hit OK and it will prompt the consumer for a TIP:

Step 5: After selecting a percentage, custom, or no tip the card reader will ask the consumer to insert their card, to begin the payment collection steps:

Step 6: After you reach the page where the consumer can confirm the amount they are going to be charged, clicking the green CONFIRM button will ask the consumer to enter their pin:

Finally, once the consumer enters their PIN and presses OK, the transaction will process, and assuming that the PIN is correct and the card has appropriate available funds on it, the transaction will be completed on the card reader.

Closing the transaction in BLAZE

Step 1: From the payment options screen, select Cashless ATM.
Step 2: In the available payment field, enter the rounded amount paid via the payment terminal.
Step 3: Select COMPLETE to finalize the transaction.

After, you will see the change due to the member.
