FAQs

Before integrating with Where's Weed, please read the following FAQs and review what data is sent by BLAZE, and what is displayed by Where's Weed.

Q: Once I make a change in BLAZE, how soon will I see the changes on the Where's Weed menu?
A: The sync occurs every 5 minutes. Please reach out to us at support@blaze.me if changes have not been made after. 

Q: Can I manually update fields on Where's Weed that are missing? 
A: If you make updates in Where's Weed, those changes will be removed after the next menu sync. 

Q: Can I apply rounded pricing to my products on my menu?
A: Prices can be rounded by first syncing your POS with BLAZE, and then clicking the Adjust Settings button, found under POS Integration. 

  • Round Pricing to nearest whole number > Select the checkbox > Click the Save button

Q: Can a low inventory threshold be applied so products need to be over a specified value to be published?
A: Yes, inventory thresholds can be applied by first syncing your POS with BLAZE, and then clicking the Adjust Settings button, found under POS Integration. 

  • Enter the Minimum Quantity to Activate the Product > Click the Save button 

Q: Do products on the menu have sales tax associated? 
A: Taxes can be included by first syncing your POS with BLAZE, and then clicking the Adjust Settings button, found under POS Integration. 

  • Show Taxes on Cannabis Product Final Pricing > Select the checkbox > Enter the tax rate to apply > Click the Save button
  • Show Taxes on Non-Cannabis Product Final Pricing > Select the checkbox > Enter the tax rate to apply > Click the Save button 

 

Things to Consider

  • Only THC / CBD %s will be sent to Where's Weed, the Show Potency Amount must be No 
  • (NOTE: Where's Weed is currently working on updating their logic to receive THC / CBD mg values as well).
