BLAZE Retail supports both weigh on the spot as well as prepackage sale processes.
For dispensaries that prepackage flower products, you will want to use the prepackage functionality in order to more easily keep track of both prepackage quantities but also gram quantities.

NOTE: Prepackages are only available for Flower category products.

You can create a prepackage by navigating to any Flower category product profile.

Scroll down the page to the Prepackages section.

Select "Add Prepackage". When adding a Prepackage, you are essentially creating a Prepackage item and then later adding quantities to it.

After selecting "Add Prepackage", a pop up will display asking you to define the Type and additional information.
Important! Predefined vs. Custom Prepackages
BLAZE Retail supports a Predefined and Custom prepackage Type. A Predefined package uses the default weight and price of the product you creating a prepackage for. The "Predefined" type should be used for those who want to create Prepackages for the standard 1 gram, 1/8th, 1/4th, 1/2, and 1 oz weights. We recommend the Predefined type for any dispensaries that use the "Mix and Match" feature because our system will automatically apply the "Mix and Match" pricing.
The "Custom" type should be used when you are creating prepackages with weights that fall outside the standard weights. For example, if you would like to create a 5 gram prepackage, then you will want to select the "Custom" type. Note, Custom types will not work for "Mix and Match" pricing. Once Custom is selected, you will need to name the Prepackage (i.e. 5 gram pack), assign a value to it (i.e. 5.0 for 5 grams) and assign it a price (i.e. $60.00).
