How to Edit the Date of a Completed Transaction
Before editing the date of a completed transaction, it's important your account is associated with the same terminal that processed the original transaction. If it's not assigned to your account already, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to Global Settings > Manage Employees > All Employees
- Search and select the employee you are logged in as
- Click the View button
- Click the Edit button
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to Assigned Terminal
- Click the dropdown and select the terminal the original transaction was processed under
- Click the Save button
- Logout of BLAZE and log back in
2. In BLAZE Retail, navigate to the Transactions section on the left-hand navigation menu and select the desired transaction you would like to modify.

3. Once you are in the transaction record, find the Processed On field at the top of the page.
- Click the Edit button directly adjacent
- Enter the appropriate date and time the transaction was processed
- Click the Save button
4. Navigate to the Cash Drawers section on the left-hand navigation menu and find the cash drawer that processed this original transaction.
- Open and close the original cash drawer to see the drawer refresh with the updated transaction
5. Navigate back to the Cash Drawers section and find the cash drawer that would have processed this updated transaction.
- Open and close the new cash drawer to see the drawer refresh with the updated transaction
