Retail | iOS | POS App Scale Integration

Here we will walk through the scale configuration with our BLAZE POS App. Tested and recommended to configure with the Scale | A&D EK-1200iN for optimal performance.

Prerequisites 

• Download BLAZE Retail | POS - (Apple store)

• yACK FAST - (Apple store)

• Scale | A&D EK-1200iN

• Female to Female Mini Gender Changer Adaptor

• BlueSnap Male DB9-M6A Adaptor
  
  • Adaptor: Male 
  • Power: we recommend the Rechargeable Battery and Power/Charge Cable.
  • Firmware: Fast

Scale Configuration

• Connect BlueSnap Male DB9-M6A Adaptor to the Mini gender changer
• Plug into the back of the scale 
• Power on BlueSnap adaptor to see a flashing light for Bluetooth discovery 
• Configure scale settings
  •  bps = (2) 9600 
  • btPr = (2)

yACK FAST App

• Open app
• Select the nearby BlueSnap DB9 under devices on the left side menu
  
  

• See connected after selecting the BlueSnap DB9
  
  

• Select the Command option in the upper left corner 
• Enter command > set ua b 9600 and send
  
   
• After connection success, swipe up on the app to close it out and see the BlueSnap DB9 light flashing for Bluetooth discovery 

BLAZE POS App

• Open BLAZE App
• Select the scale Icon upper right corner 
  
  
• Select the BlueSnap DB9 within the found devices
  
  
• Select the Default option
  
  
• See the successful connection with a green indicator 
  
  
• Add a member to the queue
• Start the order
• Select a weight-based product
• Click into the quantity field
• Put the product on the scale and select Enter on the scale to send the command and see the weight sent to POS.
