Dejavoo Terminals
This document will help you setup your device so you can start receiving debit payments.
Only debit cards with chips can be used for payments on the Dejavoo terminals
.
1. In BLAZE, ensure the payment type cashless ATM has been enabled.
- Navigate to Global Settings > Current Shop Settings > Payment Options
- If the Cashless ATM option is enabled, move onto step 2
- If the Cashless ATM option is disabled, click the Edit button
- Enable the Cashless ATM payment type
- Click the Save button
2. Please make sure the proper date and time set up on the terminal using Military Time (24-hour clock).
3. Connect your device via ethernet or WIFI.
- To connect via ethernet: Simply plug your device into a wired ethernet port (Ethernet cord is not included in the box)
- To connect via WiFi: Please view the section below
- NOTE: Strong WiFi connection is recommended to ensure processing!
4. BLAZEPAY is an integrated debit processing platform. For an offline mode, you can conduct a sale manually using the steps below:
- Choose a processor (Processor 1, Processor 2, Processor 3)
- Choose debit
- Choose withdrawal
- Enter amount
- NOTE: Amount has to be rounded up to nearest $5 increment
- A merchant fee will appear, click OK
- You will see the total amount on a screen, please Insert Debit Cart
- Select type account as checking ALWAYS
- You will see the total amount and request to enter PIN > enter PIN and click OK
- NOTE: A beeping noise indicating that it is safe to remove a card and message to remove a card will appear
- Transaction Approved or Declined will show up on the screen
- NOTE: On the receipt, you will always see the reason for a decline if the transaction was declined.
- NOTE: If the Debit card is removed prior to the success message, the message “remove a card” will appear and the transaction will not be processed, it will be reversed. On the receipt, you will see the message REVSL INC-000-Approved.

FAQ
Q: How do I perform a partial download and when do I need to do it?
A: Follow these steps:
- Go to Core Menu (Ok green button for Z11 / 3 Dots on the main screen for Z9 / F1 for Z1 model)
- Utility
- Managers code 1234
- Software download
- Connect
- Your communication type (WIFI/ Ethernet)*
- Partial * In case your terminal is set up for GPRS please make sure you take out your SIM card before doing partial download, then connect to your WiFi network. After completing partial download, please insert the SIM card back and switch the communication type to GPRS. Partial download is necessary if you have requested Transact First to make the following changes:
- change the surcharge (for immediate changes to apply, otherwise it will update during autobatch)
- change communication type
Q: I don’t see a batch in Denovo, what's going on?
A: Your terminals are not turned on or don't have internet connection at the moment autobatch should be made. It is set up for 1 am by default, unless you have indicated an autobatch time in the application form. Please perform manual transaction upload.

Q: Where do I find the receipt if my terminal didn’t print it?
A: Follow these steps:
- You need to go to DeNovo portal.
- Choose the necessary terminal.
- Do Transaction Upload in case the transaction is not in DeNovo portal yet (instruction provided in this FAQ)
- Scroll to the bottom of the page on the terminal page.
- Choose Last Transactions Tab
- Choose the necessary Batch and Transaction
- Click on the Receipt image
