# ECOM | How to verify your domain on Google Search Console

## This article will explain how to verify your main domain in Google Search Console

Verifying your domain with Google Search Console is important to ensure the domain's page indexing and SEO health. Click **[here for Google's knowledge base article](https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080?hl=en)** on how to set up an account and verify your domain. 

**The instructions below are a quick explanation of how to verify your domain with GSC. We recommend contacting Google Support directly if you have any questions or issues.**

1. 4. Add the TXT value to your Domain's DNS settings![](https://support.blaze.me/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jan-31-2024-10-41-15-3536-PM.png?width=554&height=148&name=image-png-Jan-31-2024-10-41-15-3536-PM.png)
5. Once added, you'll be able to click Verify and move into the Admin page. It may take up to 24 hours for the TXT record to propagate in the DNS settings. Check back with your Google Search Console to confirm the domain has been verified.
