Speed Test and Latency
Only one device can connect to a router at a time, so if you have an iPhone 4 that is extremely slow compared to the rest of the devices at the shop, when the iPhone4 is communicating with the router, the router cannot communicate with any other device/all other devices must wait for the slow device to finish its communication with the router to then be able to communicate.
You can think of it like entering a parking garage, the slow device would be like someone in line paying with a $100 bill and the worker (router) has to take the cash, verify its a real bill, then give out the change, the fast device would be like someone paying with credit card, and only 1 device/person at a time can communicate with the parking garage worker (router) at a time.
Our preferred hardware vendor is Professional Labels Solutions.
*While this is an acceptable minimum for most customers if you have a more than average number of devices you may need slightly more network speed. If you think this is you please reach out to support@blaze.me and let us know what devices you plan on having connected.
