This article will briefly explain what BLAZE ECOM is and how it integrates to your domain and content website.
What is BLAZE ECOM?
BLAZE ECOM is a unique cannabis ecommerce solution that allows for indexable menu pages for all of your products, categories and brands. This results in these individual page urls being directly connected to your main domain and are fully crawl-able by search engines; resulting in Google indexing these pages and assisting with the building of SEO and your domains online presence.
- Please Note: While the pages and unique URLs that are created within the BLAZE ECOM menu will assist with SEO building, it is highly recommended to consult and work with an SEO/Marketing agency to manage elements that effect your domain's SEO on a continuous basis within your domain and all pages associated with it.
- BLAZE does not manage domain SEO beyond creating the native integration to your domain, ECOM menu pages, URLs and providing the features within the ECOM platform.
BLAZE ECOM is different from other cannabis ecommerce solutions as it is a native integration to your domain and is not an imbedded menu (iFrame) within your existing content site. iFrame solutions are not SEO optimized and any product, category or brand pages within the iFrame are not crawl-able or indexable by search engines and Google.
How does BLAZE ECOM integrate to my domain and content website?
BLAZE ECOM is integrated to your domain and content website through a proxy, which allows for the native connection between the ECOM menu and domain. The proxy does require some specific content website configurations and access to your domains DNS settings (recommended) granted to our ECOM team.
The proxy is completed by the Onboarding team, then on launch day, is finalized by our ECOM Support team updating two domain DNS settings, which must remain intact after launch for the integration to be successful.
- BLAZE ECOM currently proxies to Wordpress, Duda, Squarespace and Webflow CMS content websites. Our team has other integration solutions for CMS content websites that are not listed.
- BLAZE ECOM integrates to any domain host (Examples: GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Squarespace, Google Domains)
