ECOM | READ ME!! ECOM Post Launch Items

This article will explain a few post launch items you will want to complete after your ECOM launch is complete.

Congratulations on launching your new BLAZE ECOM!! Due to the unique proxy integration that is now connecting the ECOM to your domain and content website, there are a few items you will want to take note of and make your team aware of.

  1. Domain DNS Settings: The ECOM proxy does utilize specific domain DNS records that should remain intact to allow the integration to work successfully. It is imperative that these DNS records listed  below  remain in-place within your domain's DNS  settings:
      1. Type: CNAME
        1. Name: www
        2.  Value: tymber.netlifyglobalcdn.com
      2. Type: A
        1. Name: @
        2. Value: 147.75.40.150
    1. If the records above are removed or edited outside of the listed values, your content website and ECOM menu(s) will result in broken pages. The knowledge base article below will explain these records:

  2. Content Domain removal for Wordpress Content Site users:
    1. If not already requested, you will need to request the removal of the content domain that was created for the proxy (content.yourdomain.com) from Google Search Console, so it is not crawled and indexed by search engines.

  3. Analytics Dashboard for ECOM Professional and Premium users:
    1. These ECOM plan packages come with an Analytics Dashboard that is connected to your businesses Google Analytics, Tag Manger and Search Console. If not already created and access granted to, please refer to the knowledge base article below on how to get the ECOM Analytics Dashboard configured by our team:

Your BLAZE ECOM includes lots of unique features within it and to benefit fully from the platform, please refer to the recommended configuration knowledge base articles and dive into your ECOM Mission Control.
